Celebrating International Women's Day on 8th March here's a selection of Scottish music featuring women. Next up is Mairi Campbell and The Cast singing their classic version of Auld Lang Syne quickly followed by Jim Malcolm's new album Sparkling Flash. Another new release from Margaret Bennett and Doris Rougvie called In Our Day - Reminiscenses and Songs From Rural Perthshire. We finish off the programme with The Corries singing the Bonnie Blue.

Hi there, we're back after the Celtic Connections festival in Glasgow with a feast of new releases. We start off with Steele The Show - Songs From The Heart Of Scotland a new compilation of songs by the late Davy Steele, the the latest release from Julie Fowlis Live from Perthshire Amber festival. We follow this with a debut release from Stevie Palmer called Heartprint Shadow and then My Edinburgh by Anna-Wendy Stevenson. Our last two tracks are The Speaking Heart by Lucy Pringle & Chris Wright and finishing off with The Sunday Night Sessions by Sandy Brechin & Friends.

Foot Stompin's back with more new and classic releases from the Scottish music scene. We start of the show with a rockin' track from piping combo Seudan. Next up is the new release from Annie Grace called The Bell followed by another new release from Alyth McCormack and Triona Marshall singing Delirium from their Red and Gold CD. We then look at the BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Award finals which is on the 5th February and play a track from the 2010 winner Daniel Thorpe. Our penultimate track is Duslach Is Or (Dust & Gold) by Isobel Ann Martin and we finish up the podcast with the classic Blazin' Fiddles playing Miss Johnstone from their Magnificent Seven CD.

Tinto is residential youth school where young people from 12-18 come along and learn trad music from some of Scotland's top musicians.
