Here's our December 21st 2010 Foot Stompin' Free Scottish Music Christmas and New Year Podcast. I thought I would play some of my favourite tracks from 2010 starting off with Man's Ruin by Calum MacCrimmon, then Mark the Hard Earth by Kris Drever. We follow this with a beautiful air by Duncan Chisholm's Canaich album. Next is the long awaited debut album from Sandy Wright and a great set of jigs from Matheu Watson. We finish off the podcast Ewan Robertson's  Some Kind of Certaintyalbum. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Here's our December 7th 2010 Foot Stompin' Free Scottish Music Podcast. We've a range of releases in this podcast. We start with Scottish Folk Band of the Year 2010 Malinky singing Pad The Road Wi Me. Next up is the winners of Venue of the Year - The Skipinnish Ceilidh House in Oban with their CD The Sound of the Summer. We follow this with another west coast band Diamh singing a song from their Diversions CD and then we have Rua MacMillan playing Traditionally Incorrect from his debut Tyro CD. Drever, McCusker & Woomble sing Silver and Gold from Before the Ruin and we finish with the Old Blind Dogs singing Loughe Erne's Shore.

Here's our July 7th 2010 Foot Stompin' Free Scottish Music Podcast.  For this edition we're at Tinto Summer School in Wiston, South Lanarkshire. Tinto is residential youth school where young people from 12-18 come along and learn trad music from some of Scotland's top musicians. We asked some of the kids and staff to pick their favourite tracks for the podcast.
