Hi there,

Here's another podcast of great songs and tunes from Scotland starting with the legendary Andy Stewart singing Come in, come in. We follow this with the new release from Blazin' Fiddles - Thursday Night in the Caley and then Stem the Tide from Paul McKenna Band. We've move back a few years to Blue Men of the Minch from Meantime and even further back to Krapulakatrilli by Liz Doherty and Fiddlesticks. We finish off with  the podcast bagpipe maestro Finlay MacDonald and his Breton Set.

Then we've a set of jigs from Kenneth & Angus Mackenzie's Piob Is Fidheall. We've got classic Gaelic from George Clavey on the Gold Medalists All and then Highlander's Farewell by Alasdair Fraser and Natalie Haa and we finish off with Shetland rockers No Sweat and their album Six Whole Days...One Whole Night.

Hi there,

Celebrating International Women's Day on 8th March here's a selection of Scottish music featuring women. We start off with a set of tunes from Jamie Smith, Roisin Anne Hughes & Alistair Cassidy on the new Friday Night Sessions CD. Next up is Scottish Women Live singing Canan Nan Gael. Next up is Mairi Campbell and The Cast singing their classic version of Auld Lang Syne quickly followed by Jim Malcolm's new album Sparkling Flash. Another new release from Margaret Bennett and Doris Rougvie called In Our Day - Reminiscenses and Songs From Rural Perthshire. We finish off the programme with The Corries singing the Bonnie Blue.
