This is our combined Christmas and MG ALBA Scots Trad Music Awards Winners podcast! We start of the show with a Puirt from Album of the Year winners Manran. We follow this with Citty Finlayson Scots Singer of the Year Siobhan Miller. Next up is the Live Act of the Year - Skerryvore. Our Music Tutor of the Year was Mairi Campbell and she's singing the song Don't Ever Give Up. Winners of the Community Award was Blazin' in Beauly so we're playing a track from founders Blazin' Fiddles. We finish up the show with a track from Aidan O'Rourke who won Composer of the Year.

I have had a look back this week at our Foot Stompin' Records back catalogue and picked out a few of my favourite tracks. We start of with Lumsden's Rant from Back of the Moon's Luminosity CD. Next up is Don't Sing Love Songs by Maeve Mackinnon and then a beautiful air from fiddler Shona Mooney's Heartsease. We follow this with fiddle/guitar/banjo virtuoso Anna Massie from her Missing Gift CD then it's a gorgeous performance by Gaelic songstress Catriona Watt from her Cadal Cuain CD and we finish off with Fine Friday playing Lisa Giles from their Mowing the Machair CD.

We follow this with a debut release from Stevie Palmer called Heartprint Shadow and then My Edinburgh by Anna-Wendy Stevenson. Foot Stompin's back with more new and classic releases from the Scottish music scene. We start of the show with a rockin' track from piping combo Seudan.
