It's great to be back with another Foot Stompin' Scottish music podcast. We start of the show with Hounds from top Scottish band The Treacherous Orchestra. Next up is Cathy-Ann MacPhee singing a beautiful Gaelic song - An Ataireachd Ard (Eternal Surge Of The Sea). We follow this with a brand new release from Aberdeenshire band Clype singing Down with May. Next is Skippinish's latest top of the charts single The Island followed by Rachel Sermani's new single Run from her new album Tied to the Moon. We finish off the podcast with Boys of the Lough's brand new release - The New Line.

Here is the latest Foot Stompin' podcast from Hands Up for Trad featuring lots of great Scottish music. We start of the podcast with new band Dosca who all hail from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Next up is a song from Jim Sutherland's Struileag project. It's called Oran a’ Khookaburra (The Song of the Kookaburra) and features many great Gaelic singers. We have another new release from clarsach player Rachel Hair Trio called Trì followed by Twelfth Day who also feature clarsach and fiddle. Next up is Stuart Cassells and Blown Away. Congratulations to him on the birth of his first child! We finish the podcast with John Sommerville's Voyage of the Hector.

Then its a charity single from Gary Innes and friends - Our Heroes followed by Back In Love Again from Lau's new album The Bell That Never Rang. The we have 2014 BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician Award winner Robyn Stapleton new album Fickle Fortune. Our second last track is from Skerryvore - Happy to Be Home featuring Sharon Shannon and we 'blast off' the podcast with the brand new Peatbog Faeries release Blackhouse.

Hi there, Welcome to our latest Scottish music podcast. Featuring a nearly all girl podcast (with one guy!) this month - like our Scottish political leaders! We start of with new Orcadian band Fara playing a tune about Billy's Short Leg! Next up is a new release from Barluath and their At Dawn of Day album. Next up is Hannah Read is coming to teach at Tinto Summer Schools. This song is from her Wrapped in Lace album. At Hands Up for Trad we have lots of awards and this next artist Fraser Fifield has just received our Ignition Award for innovation within traditional music. We then have a new release (Shift) from Scots singer Kirsty Law and we finish with a slightly older release from The Shee's Decadence album.

Hi there! In this month’s Foot Stompin’ podcast we have BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician Award winner Claire Hastings singing with her band Top Floor Taivers. Then we head to a classic set of tunes from Jock Tamson’s Bairns on their A’ Jock Tamson’s Bairns. We feature Mairi Campbell and FolkWaves next with her beautiful song Smile or Cry. Next is the brand new release Gràs (Grace) by Mairi MacInnes and then we feature some exciting piping from Stuart Liddell. We finish up the podcast with The Man Who Sold New York from Findlay Napier
