Hi there,

We've a traditional Scots song version of the Foot Stompin' podcast! We start of with Gordeanna McCulloch singing The Bleacher Lassie of Kelvinhaugh. Next up is Mairi Campbell sing The Piper and the Maker. We take a quick break from singing and play Bruce MacGregor and Christine Hanson's new CD Kissin' is the Best of A'. We're back to singing now with John Watt and Davey Stewart singing Pittenweem Jo then Johnny My Man by Joan Harkness. We finish up the podcast with a reel from Steven Spence.

This is a special MG ALBA Scots Trad Music Awards edition. To vote in the Awards please visit ScottishCultureOnline.com. First up we have The Unusual Suspects with Big Like This. They are nominated in the Live Act of the Year Award. Next is Barbara Dymock singing Bonnie Hieland Laddie from her Hilbert's Hotel release. Barbara is nominated in Citty Finlayson Scots Singer of the Year. Then we have Matheu Watson who is nominated in Instrumentalist of the Year. The it's Gaelic singer of the year nominee Maeve MacKinnon from her Don't Sing Love Songs release. Nearly there! We feature Field Marsh Montgomery Pipe Band playing a set of hornpipes (Pipe Band of the Year) and finish of the show with Folk Band of the Year nominated Battlefield Band.
